The C-130H remains in widespread US Air Force (USAF) use and the Ohio ANG has long been one such operator. The 179th Airlift Wing is based at Mansfield Lahm Regional Airport, although it has since replaced its C-130H aircraft with the C-27J Spartan that will be able to directly support the US Army. Its Hercules aircraft have been involved in operations all over the world in recent years, and the 1/400 Warbirds model shows one of its aircraft. What impresses most about this C-130H is the outstanding three-colour camouflage scheme. Although the model is not large in this scale, all the necessary details are clearly and sharply represented. The camouflage is painted realistically, allowing this Ohio ANG aircraft to take on a whole new character of its own.
1:400 scale (approx. 10cm / 3.9in wingspan) - made by Dragon.
